What are the benefits of porcelain paving?

How do I clean porcelain paving?
Porcelain slabs are non-porous and highly resistant against natural staining over time. If you do want to give your porcelain slabs some extra shine, just give them a scrub with a bucket of warm soapy water and a dash of elbow grease.
Are porcelain slabs slippery when wet?
In short, no. Porcelain paving slabs possess anti-slip qualities which makes them a safe option in wet weather despite their shiny appearance.
What base do you lay porcelain slabs on?
Porcelain slabs should be laid onto a solid mortar base rather than a wet one. This is because porcelain slabs are non-porous, so a wet bed mortar will not stick and you run the risk of the tiles debonding.
How do I cut porcelain paving?
Cutting porcelain paving can be tricky without the appropriate tools and protection. It’s generally recommended that you use a professional-grade diamond blade saw for a simple straight cut. Hand tools are not sufficient and more basic tools may also struggle. This not only makes cutting your porcelain slabs physically harder; you also risk chipping or damaging your tiles.
